Can anyone join ARISE?

ARISE membership is designed for ordained or licensed women in the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana.


How do I become a member of ARISE?

Contact us to receive an application and pay a discounted membership fee of $50. After August 31, 2019, the annual fee will be $100.


What will the membership fee cover?

The fee will provide discounts on registrations for conferences and ARISE online classes. It also helps defray operational costs to administer ARISE (e.g. mentors, facilitators, assessment tests, discounting of the LifeGivers classes, and regional and national conventions).


What are the community discussion groups?

These groups are designed to build relationships with other ordained women in their specific area of ministry. The group will meet once a month through ZOOM meetings. The community groups will meet an hour a month for four months sharing concerns, problems, challenges, and best practices.


What areas of ministry are being offered for community groups?

There are several groups including senior pastors, executive pastors, singles, missions, transition, youth, children, church planter, and parachurch. You will be placed in a group that represents your current area of ministry.


How will one-on-one mentoring work?

This is designed for experienced clergy women to walk with women whose goal is to serve in a pastoral capacity. The mentoring relationship will provide gift assessment where needed. The relationship is meant to last one year. Participants will have opportunities to meet at conferences and conventions.


How do I become a mentor?

If you express interest, we will submit your name for consideration.


Do you plan to have conferences for ARISE members?

We plan to have ARISE conferences during the 2020 Church of God regional conventions that will be held in California, Indiana, and New York. There will also be a Christian Women Connection convention in 2021 that will include an ARISE | Women in Ministry track.
